On Monday, Odlo began the construction of its new global distribution center in the German town of Brüggen. By the end of 2013, it will take the place of a cluster of five distribution centers in the same area. The total warehouse space will increase from 18,500 to 26,000 square meters, giving it a capacity to stock more than ten million pieces. Currently, the capacity is at more than 6 million items handled by 80 employees. The new complex will also house the group’s sales subsidiary for Germany, with a surface of 1,750 square meters for offices and showrooms.
