Jack Wolfskin consolidates online operations

Jack Wolfskin is emphasizing the strategic importance of its online activities by creating a new department that will incorporate all their online operations such as social media, web presence and online sales from partner retailers. The new department will be led by Michael Vogel, Senior Manager E-commerce and Digital, who joined the outdoor brand at the beginning of the month. The 35-year-old has come from Peek & Cloppenburg, a German fashion chain, where he was in charge of and built up their online retail business. In his new position, he will report to Elke Stein, Jack Wolfskin’s Chief Marketing Officer.
