Peak Performance sees profits rise despite a dip in sales

Peak Performance, the Swedish sportswear brand  has posted lower sales for the 2012-13 financial year compared with the previous year. Peak Performance which is part of the Danish IC Companys group, saw turnover slip by 5 percent to 931 million Danish Krone (€124.8 million). Its operating profit on the other hand improved to DKK69 million (€9.3 million) from DKK55 million (€7.4 million) last year. In all, the snow and outerwear brand achieved an Ebit margin of 7.4 percent. Consolidated sales for the entire group were DKK3,314 million (€444.3 million) which equates to a 1 percent rise on a like for like basis. Adjusted operating profits (excluding one-off expenses) remained the same as last year at DKK210 million (28.2 million).
