Intersport has picked The North Face for its first Europe-wide marketing campaign in the outdoor category ever rolled out in partnership with one of its preferred vendors. The leitmotiv of the campaign is “More Jacket. More Adventure.” and will be launched in 14 countries from the beginning of the fall winter season. Large billboard advertising forms an important part of the initiative. This combined brand and retailer network action follows on from two similar campaigns during the last two winter seasons (limited to the German market). For its first pan-European cooperation, The North Face has developed a special collection to be sold exclusively in Intersport outlets. The highlight of the line is the 3-in-1 Exploration Triclimate Jacket. Participating retailers will be mentioned in the regionally customized advertisements and commercials shown in movie theaters.
