Skechers takes Reebok to court for patent issues

The brand sees a patent infringement committed by the Adidas subsidiary concerning Skechers’ “Go Walk” product line. Skechers claims compensation, punitive damages and an injunctive relief for the infringement of Skechers’ trade dress rights and patents. In substance, the plaint concerns Reebok’s footwear called Walk Ahead RS. Skechers officials said that they would take action against any company violating the brand’s intellectual property rights, but also against retailers selling the Reebok shoes in question.
