At an extraordinary general meeting on July 9, the European Outdoor Group agreed to allow retailers to become members of the industry federation. EOG decided to maintain a minimum turnover threshold for eligibility. The group is looking to establish a membership committee to assess whether applicants meet the association’s objectives. Once the committee agrees to grant a retailer membership, the new member will enjoy the same rights (and duties) as existing members. Interested retailers should contact Mark Held, EOG’s secretary-general at email@example.com and obtain a list of the criteria which have to be met.
