European Outdoor Group opens up to retail members

At an extraordinary general meeting on July 9, the European Outdoor Group agreed to allow retailers to become members of the industry federation. EOG decided to maintain a minimum turnover threshold for eligibility. The group is looking to establish a membership committee to assess whether applicants meet the association’s objectives. Once the committee agrees to grant a retailer membership, the new member will enjoy the same rights (and duties) as existing members. Interested retailers should contact Mark Held, EOG’s secretary-general at and obtain a list of the criteria which have to be met.
