Sudden change at the top of Germany’s leading outdoor brand. With immediate effect, Melody Harris-Jensbach takes on the role of chief executive at Jack Wolfskin. The 53-year-old succeeds Michael Rupp, who has led “The Paw” since July 2012 and is stepping down at his own request for personal reasons.
Harris-Jensbach has been in the apparel industry for three decades and has played leading roles with major brands. Since 2012, she served as chief product & design officer on the executive board of Esprit. Before that, she was vice chairman of the executive board at Puma where she acted as chief product officer.
