The Garmin Vivofit fitness bracelet is aimed at people who are fighting their weaker self.
The anatomically formed bracelet features a colored display that shows steps taken, distance covered and calories burnt. Additionally, a red colored activity curve displays whether the user has reached their personal activity target for the day.
Thanks to an energy-saving E-Ink display the device’s battery can last for a year. The Vivofit can be equipped with an optional ANT+ chest belt for cardio training, which monitors pulse and heart rate, making the calculation of the burnt calories even more precise.
Thanks to Bluetooth and the Garmin app the waterproof Vivofit transfers data directly to Garmin’s Connect Fitness platform. Here the user’s daily activities, as well as their sleeping and eating habits, are evaluated and displayed in a clear way. Daily targets are aligned to personal activity levels and automatically adjusted according to an individual’s progression.
Price: 119 EUR (149 EUR including chest belt).
