The three-dimensional, one-piece carbon base Super Nano Skate skating shoe by cross-country specialist Madshus is aimed at athletes who want to bring out the best in themselves and from their equipment.
Thanks to the 3D-molded Integrated Carbon Base the boot transfers every ounce of power directly into the ski. The carbon sole and heel cup are made of one piece to match the foot’s anatomy, wrapping around the heel, under the arch and all the way up to the ankle and the pivot point of the carbon cuff. These specific characteristics have earned the Madshus Super Nano Skate the ISPO AWARD in the “Cross Country” category.
Due to its construction and the bullet-proof screwed-on sole the boot provides 47 percent more torsional stiffness than a traditional skating boot while at the same time being extremely comfortable, even after hours of use, thanks to its great fit.
“I have won four world titles and bagged many top world cup results with the Super Nano Skate. It is simply stunning what kind of speed you can reach with the new boot”, says biathlete Emil Hegle Svendsen.
The high-stretch flex notch system beneath the MemBrain Softshell construction delivers great comfort, maximum knee drive, range of motion and provides excellent breathability.
With the Super Nano Skate XC Boot the Norwegian ski manufacturer offers a boot that is perfectly tuned to the Madshus Redline Carbon skate ski models.
