A few months after the appointment of Melody Harris-Jensbach as chief executive of the German outdoor brand, Jack Wolfskin is undergoing further changes in its executive board. Christian Brandt, the chief operating officer, is to leave the company at the end of April. The position of the COO is not going to be filled again at this point. Instead, the company has appointed a chief financial officer. Axel Mau has experience in running the financial affairs of larger companies over two decades. For eight years, he was CFO at enterprises outside the sporting goods industry, including companies operating in the pharmaceutical and security industries. Besides Mau and Harris-Jensbach, Markus Boetsch will remain head of sales on the executive board, a position that he has held for many years.
