MIPS is a safety system for helmets of all kinds, developed by five Swedish scientists. Now the MIPS team is launching an ISPO OPEN INNOVATION project that aims to determine an athlete’s needs and requirements in regards to safety equipment.
The project broaches the issue of the significance of helmet safety level when it comes to the buying decision. Furthermore, the MIPS team will also discuss the communication and visualization possibilities of the MIPS technology together with participants.
The first of four project stages has already begun to analyze buying decisions for specific safety equipment.
Participation in the MIPS ISPO OPEN INNOVATION project will be rewarded:
Two trips to the MIPS headquarters in Stockholm, Sweden, as well as ten helmets with the MIPS system (value: up to EUR 300 per helmet) are up for grabs.
More information about MIPS’ Generation Safety project can be found on the ISPO OPEN INNOVATION webseite.
