Andy Mooney is no longer chief executive of boardsports company Quiksilver. This came after unsatisfactory quarterly figures presented last week. Equally, Richard Shields, chief financial officer, has resigned to accept new professional opportunities. To replace Mooney, the group which also markets the DC and Roxy brands has appointed Pierre Agnes as CEO. Agnes has been with the firm for no less than 27 years. Most recently, Agnes served as president of Quiksilver Europe and then as global head of apparel. Thomas Chambolle, so far chief of finances in the EMEA region, has been promoted chief financial officer for global operations of the U.S. company.
