The annual Manufacturers Forum organized by the World Federation of the Sporting Goods Industry (WFSGI) is holding its third event this year in Hong Kong from Dec. 2-3. After the two conferences held in Taipeh, Taiwan, and Leipzig, Germany, in the last two years, the Hong Kong event will bear the title “Beyond Lean Manufacturing” and will be supported by the International Apparel Federation.
The focus of this year’s event is not on technical topics of production alone, but on broader topics such as corporate responsibility. This includes lean production, reduction of labor-intensive manufacturing and workforce education.
Keynote speakers include Carsten zur Steege, Managing Director of Bosch Automotive (Thailand) Co., Ltd., who will give an insight into the automotive company’s approach to “Excellent Lean Production”.
The preliminary agenda of the Forum and registration forms are available at WFSGI’s website.
