Alchemy Equipment, the kiwi brand of outdoor apparel and travel equipment, is introducing its first line of products designed especially for the northern hemisphere. It’s set to hit the European and American markets in spring 2016. The collection targets the smart casual and business traveler, according to the New Zealand company. The line includes wool/cotton products with a Teflon finish and Schoeller fabrics.
Outside New Zealand, Alchemy is already retailed by select stores in the U.S., Germany, France and Switzerland and has distributors in Taiwan, Japan and South Korea. Since last year, the international business is managed by Frank Spiewack, a German exec who was in charge of global sales at other New Zealand outdoor companies such as Macpac and Icebreaker.
