Belle: Apparel performs better than footwear

In the first six months of its financial year, Belle International, China’s huge footwear, apparel and sporting goods retailer, lifted its total sales by 4 percent to nearly 19,360 million yuan renminbi (€2,756.4 million). Equally net profit was up also by 4 percent, and reached RMB 2,158 million (€307.3 million).

Apparel developed better than shoes. Apparel shops improved their sales by 16 percent to RMB 9,413 million (€1,340.2 million), while shoe stores were down by 5 percent to nearly 9,836 million (€1,400.3 million).
