Alpina introduces revolutionary cross-country boots for top performance with the new Elite 2.0 racing boot series.
Biathlon world champion Jakov Fak, the Swedish cross-country skiers Marcus Hellner and Johan Olsson are all wearing the red Alpina Elite cross-country boots, like many other top athletes. With more than 90 podium placements in the last world cup season and innumerous Olympic medals and world titles the Alpina Elite is the most successful cross-country boot of all times.
Alpina Elite 2.0: A new generation of racing boots
The two innovative models ESK 2.0 (for skating) and ECL 2.0 (for classic) have been designed with racy cross-country skiers in mind. The new Active Edge carbon reinforcement offers the athlete great support while also being extremely light. And parts of the boot are a bit softer in order to avoid pressure points.
Alpina is the first manufacturer offering a sole construction made from two different components.
The two-piece sole consists of a forefoot and a heel section made of plastic combined with a carbon sole. The heel of the boot and the carbon bottom are made as one piece to gain a greater torsional stiffness. Additionally, the new sole construction makes the boot lighter as so less energy demanding.
