    Kettler files for bankruptcy

    The manufacturer of bicycles, fitness and garden equipment filed, yesterday, for bankruptcy in self-administration at a court in Arnsberg, Germany. The company announced that this step was necessary to protect it from uncoordinated take-over attempts by investment firms and in order to re-organize the group.
